That made you pause, didn’t it? 😉😂 That’s the point of a slogan! They’re meant to grab the attention of your target audience... just as pick-up lines are meant to the grab attention of the intended suitor.

Your slogan must be memorable/catchy, short, simple and most importantly, convey what your brand is all about.

A friend of mine once shared that before a guy asks a girl he likes out, he first conducts a bit of research on her (I’m talking about guys who are serious about life here😂). Asking questions like; what's her personality/character is like? How does she spend most of her time? Who are her friends? And so on...

Now, that’s the exact approach you need to take before approaching your prospective customer. Ask questions like: What do they like? What don’t they like? What do they do for a living? What are their hopes and dreams? What inspires them? Who do they follow? What do they value most?

This step is crucial because it lays the foundation for a solid relationship with your customer. It’ll determine how you move forward with the next step—courtship. How well do you know your ideal customer?😁

A great relationship with your customers is vital if you plan to be in business for the long-haul.

How do you build a relationship founded on a level of trust and loyalty—through digital marketing—that’ll ensure that your customers aren’t “enticed” away by your competitors?
