“Photography Rules”... Who made them? Who decided that a photograph has to look a certain way to be considered “correct”? I’m not one of those people who blindly follows the rules.

Yes, I rotated this image, and suddenly it took on a completely different feel. A different mood. A different story. You could almost call it: “The Uphill Battle of Montana.”

There is no “I” in team.

A fighter jet may be the machine everyone comes to see. The pilot may be the name people remember. But long before the engines fire up and long after the applause fades, there is an entire team making every movement possible.

Sometimes teamwork looks spectacular the speed of sound...

Sometimes it looks like one person standing quietly on the ground, guiding a multi-million-rand aircraft safely into its parking bay.

Every hand signal matters. Every check matters. Every person matters.

Because success is rarely built by the person standing in the spotlight. It is built by the people beside them, behind them, and often completely out of sight.

The aircraft may carry one pilot.

But it takes a TEAM to make it fly.
