December energy over here is a mix of deadlines, laughter, and very unserious décor 💀✨

We’re very much still open and working through December. Client work is moving, content is being created, and projects are being delivered as planned.

That said, we will be taking a proper pause on:
• Christmas Day
• New Year’s Day

On those two days only, we’ll be offline spending time with family, resting, and recharging. If you message us then, don’t worry, we’ll get back to you the very next day.

Thank you for trusting us with your brands this year. We’re still here, still building, and already gearing up for what’s next.

Your Social Media Manager Wrapped is here… and listen… we didn’t mean to expose you like this
But if your 2025 looked anything like this carousel? Just know..you are NOT alone.

Last week we had a lot of clients ask us “How can we use the Woolies bag to go viral?”.. that question alone is a
perfect case study on why not every trend is your trend.
Just because something is blowing up online doesn’t mean your brand must jump in. Especially when the joke does not align with your values, your industry or your audience.
The Woolies bag moment is hilarious because South Africans turn everything into culture. But it doesn’t mean every business should try to capitalise on it.
The thing about trends is...
1. Chasing virality can look desperate if the trend has nothing to do with you.
Many brands go viral for the wrong reasons and struggle to recover the credibility they lost.
2. Real brand equity is built through consistency, not chaos. Trends burn fast. Trust lasts.
3. Aligning with irrelevant trends confuses your audience. People start asking “What exactly do you do again?”
4. Not all visibility is good visibility. Some brands go viral and see zero sales because the attention was entertainment, not interest.

Your brand should not try to force itself into conversations it wasn’t invited to.

Just because you can jump on a trend doesn’t mean you should. Sometimes the most strategic thing a brand can do is stay silent. (I hope Woolies does that)
