Mark1 is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team and work with a leading global commercial automotive brand.

This is a hands-on, B2B role covering paid media, organic social and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You'll own the full campaign lifecycle, from strategy through to reporting and invoicing.

What we're looking for:
- 3-5+ years in paid media (Google, Meta, LinkedIn)
- 2+ years managing organic social
- 1+ year on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- B2B experience in a corporate environment

Based in Boksburg. Hybrid after probation.

The way agencies access analytics data just fundamentally changed.

Most won't realise it for another 6-12 months.

Google launched the Analytics Model Context Protocol (MCP) in 2025 & we're integrating it across our analytics practice right now.

Mark1 is rolling it out in sprints across client accounts over the coming weeks. We're not simply 'moving faster'. We are fundamentally changing what's possible in client conversations.

Here's why this matters for anyone working with digital data:

The old model:
- Client asks a question mid-meeting
- "Let me pull that report & get back to you"
- Hours spent building dashboards
- Data exists in silos across platforms
- Strategic conversations wait for scheduled reports

The new reality:
- Questions answered in real-time, during the conversation
- Data queried conversationally through AI assistants
- Cross-platform insights accessible instantly
- No more "3 versions of the truth"

MCP isn't just another integration tool. It's a standardised protocol that lets AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, others) query GA4 data directly through natural language.

We're currently implementing this across Mark1, starting with our own GA4 account.

Early testing shows we can now ask questions like: "How did our Gauteng campaign impact conversions last week compared to the national average?" & get accurate answers in under 30 seconds.

Sure, it's faster. But what matters is freeing our team to think, not just extract data.

Data accessibility is becoming commoditised.
The real value now sits in data interpretation - i.e. asking better questions, testing hypotheses faster, uncovering insights hidden in cross-platform patterns.
