DADA MASILO 1985-2024
We are profoundly saddened by the passing at the age of 39 of our beloved friend and colleague Dada Masilo on 29 December after a brief illness. Joburg Ballet had the immense privilege of working with Dada during 2024, experiencing her creative force as a choreographer and her wisdom as a human being, and receiving the love and caring she radiated so generously. We hold her in our hearts and treasure the memories she left us. A brilliant light has been extinguished. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dada’s family and friends. Rest in Peace Dada Masilo.
