“Ethical marketing” seems to be trending, but most of what’s being called ethical… isn’t that ethical at all.😒

Real ethical marketing doesn’t pretend to care but secretely use psychological tactics to coerce you into buying, even though we can all feel it.

Real ethical marketing actually cares. Real ethical marketing will be there at 3am when your coffee is stale, your hairs a mess and you're trying to write your own website copy with 200 unopened tabs (so you don't have to be up at 3am working in the first place, Chad)

Real ethical market cares about you, communities, the earth and whether you've had time to go for a walk.

It facilitates relationships and helps you make informed decisions.

Oh, and yes, it still converts. (Actually, it converts better, but that's a conversation for another day)

The point is people buy when they feel safe, not pressured.

So don't make it weird.

What is Sustainable Marketing?

Sustainable marketing is the practice of promoting your business in a way that’s environmentally and socially responsible (while still meeting real human needs.)

It’s woven into how your business operates, communicates, and shows up.
It's showing up intentionally.

Burnout doesn’t come from content. It comes from a lack of direction or results
It can come from a lack of alignment.

Sustainable marketing works when you have a clear strategy, repeatable systems
and content that actually leads somewhere.

Don't just showing up for the sake of it.

Women-led brands are not the problem, but the marketing frameworks they were handed are.

You were taught to:

rush your audience
dilute your voice
prioritise performance over truth

And then told you were “bad at marketing” when it didn’t feel right.

You’re not.

You’ve just outgrown the system.

There is no “perfect template.”
But there is a structure that works.

This is the 5-part homepage framework I use across every client project
(adapted, not copied.)

Save this before you rewrite anything

You're welcome

Is your website copy starting to look like it was written in the early 2000s?

Here's how to write a homepage that actually converts (link in bio)

Most homepages don’t fail because they look bad.

They fail because they don’t guide the reader.

That's why I created a quick guide on "How to Write a Homepage That Actually Converts." Inside, I help you learn:

what your homepage actually needs to do
the structure I use for every client
why most websites lose people in the first 10 seconds

If your website isn’t bringing in inquiries…

You and I both know you don’t need more one-size-fits-all everywhere advice.

You need clarity on what’s actually working for you and what's not. So I’m curious- What’s your biggest struggle when it comes to writing your website copy right now?

Is it:

knowing what to say
making it sound like you
actually finishing it
or getting it to convert

Tell me in the comments 👇
(I read every single one, and it helps me create content that actually helps you)

Most service-based websites are losing clients in the first 10 seconds. .

Yeah, you've heard it before but do you know why? No you don't or you wouldn't be here reading this post.

Let's just get one thing straight, your website isn’t supposed to “look nice" it’s supposed to convert strangers into conversations. But out in these internet streets businesses are out here talking about their business, not the buyer.

The problem is that they really don't have any reason to care yet. Stop it. Don't tell them how shiny the packaging is and how you've handmade every bead on the dress.

Right now, you probably sound like every other brand shouting into the void instead of being so specific your ideal client feels personally triggered by how closely you are describing what they are ALREADY feeling.

Your homepage has one job. Make the right person feel seen, heard and THEN that you know how to help.

Give them a clear next step

That’s it. That's all.
If it’s not doing that? You don’t need a redesign.

You need better copy.

You've been posting consistently for 6 months. Your DMs are quiet. Here's what's actually happening.

You’ve been posting consistently.
You’ve tried showing up.
You’ve followed the advice.
And your DMs are still quiet.
That doesn’t mean your content isn’t “good enough.”
It means your content isn’t strategically aligned.

Visibility alone doesn’t convert.

Neither does content that just “exists.”

You don’t need to post 5 times per day.

You need to post intentionally.

You're welcome.

From Fine Art to copywriter. What 3 years at art school taught me about marketing...

I have an incomplete BA in Fine Art.(Yes, I dropped out)
But honestly? It’s one of the main reasons my clients convert.

Because art school taught me:

– how to see patterns
– how to tell stories
– how to translate feeling into form

And marketing is exactly that.

Not manipulation or pressure. It's a translation of who you are → into words your people understand.

That’s the work.
