I’ve sat looking through something to post, but I didn’t want to put old work up or look like I’m just doing it just for the likes... and I’ve just ended up looking back to personal photos more than my work.⠀
⠀
I’m on a massive pause at the moment, out of personal choice for reasons other than Covid, but it still has totally floored my business. ⠀
⠀
But seeing my family photo makes me just feel absolutely crushed for those going through this majorly.. being apart from others, businesses closing or suffering, plans on hold, weddings cancelled and creativity on pause. ⠀
⠀
I am so proud of all of the other people I know that work in this industry and have done a full pivot to keep themselves going, I’m also really proud of the couples just taking this in their stride and that’s who I’m still here for... I’m on pause but I’m still here for the moral support and cheerleading. ⠀

I had only moved out of London the year before, and Hertford House was always my special treat place, for coffee, for lunch or cocktails and a bit of garage.⠀
⠀
The decor and artwork was always evolving and it gave me that feeling of being in London still. It just always had a different feel about it to going to a chain place and I would have hearts in my eyes walking around it! I had my hen do here with my friends and family & then started coming here with for brainstorming meetings and talks. ⠀
⠀
Through my work, my love for my community & supporting other local creatives and businesses I managed to have a meeting with Wendy and now my lettering is all over the walls, windows and mirrors. ⠀
⠀
It’s literally become my hub of Hertford, I still love coming here for special occasions or a quick coffee. I am so proud to see my work in here after all these years of loving this place, and so proud that a place that was my dream client asked me to come in and work my magic. ⠀

NEW BEGINNINGS 🧡⠀

work always finds a way to get right into my head and feelings.. So I wanted to be honest with myself on the subject of new beginnings.. because if I’m honest it’s taken me a few weeks to even get my head around it. ⠀
⠀
I know I’m not alone in how the situation of 2020 has messed with so many peoples plans, businesses & lives in general.. I have to do what is right for my family and our future, above everything else so I am closing my books for Mother Wild for the foreseeable.. ⠀
⠀
I have been so lucky to be able to find an amazing job, working with a brand that is perfect for me and I will be in a studio full time working with other creatives too.. this change of pace for me will leave all of my spare time dedicated solely to my family & friends.⠀
⠀
I have a handful of orders & postponed weddings that are blocked out in my diary, but other than that I will be using this page purely for inspiration, sharing other amazing suppliers, and as a lovely communication tool so I’m still here! I’m just not ‘working’ right now... ⠀
⠀
Sending love to anyone that is flipping their world upside down right now, and we will all be where we need to be in time. Just got to stay positive and look out for one another 🧡 ⠀
