I was in Europe last year summer and went pass Portugal for a pre set up of the Afro-Nations concert, to my surprise Amapiano is huge there! This is supported by Stats, Amapiano had over 1.9 billion streams in 2022. Now new-comer and Grammy award winning Tyla latest offering shattered records with an unprecedented 7.3 million streams on its first day on Spotify, setting a new standard for African female artists.
