Big moves. Real impact. 🔥
We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Trivano Abrams on being selected as a National Focal Point for the Youth@SAIIA High School Network within the Inclusive Societies Working Group.

This isn’t just a title it’s a seat at the table where youth voices shape policy, drive conversations, and influence the future.

The JA Project believes in empowering young leaders to step into spaces that matter… and this right here? This is exactly that.

The future isn’t waiting. It’s being built boldly, intentionally, and by young people like this.

They showed up.
They spoke up.
And then… they lived a little 🤍

After an impactful panel at the Human Rights Festival, our Junior Advocates took a moment to just enjoy the space, the people, and the energy around them.
Because yes, advocacy matters. The conversations matter.
But so do these moments. The smiles. The laughter. The feeling of being young, heard, and free.
This is what it looks like when young people are not just included, but truly belong.

Last year, We showed up at the Human Rights Festival at with our first activation stand creating space for young voices to be heard.

This year, through , we return with a deeper commitment: “Nothing About Us Without Us.”
Because human rights conversations must move beyond theory.

Young people must be actively involved in decisions that affect their lives across mental health, school safety, discrimination, bullying, and access to quality education.

Tomorrow, we take that conversation even further.

Today, the conversation became real.

As part of the , JA! Project and Agency hosted learners from Peters College South Africa for a powerful Schools Today, the conversation became real.

As part of the CitytoCitySchoolsHealthRoadshow, The JA! Project and Cart Agency hosted learners from St Peter’s College South Africa for a powerful Schools in Conversation dialogue on mental health.

The highlight? A community walk-through that gave the boys a firsthand look at how societal challenges from inequality and violence to substance use and lack of access to support shape mental health every day.

This wasn’t just something to observe it was something to feel, reflect on, and unpack together.

By connecting lived realities to personal well being, learners built deeper awareness, empathy, and understanding of why this work matters and the role they can play in driving change.

Because this is more than a conversation.
It’s an experience. It’s perspective. It’s action.

But this is bigger than va**ng
It’s about:
Substance abuse
Bullying
Mental health
Nutrition
And the realities young people face daily
Through our work with the , we’re:
Creating safe spaces
Building youth leaders through Junior Advocates.
Driving real conversations in schools
Connecting communities to solutions

This is about protecting a generation.
This is about real talk.

This is about youth leading change.

We don’t do it for vibes. We do it for change.

This week at Aurora Girls High in Soweto, we had a real conversation about teenage pregnancy not the sugar-coated version, but the reality many young girls face every day.

In South Africa, over 117,000 girls aged 10–19 gave birth in a single year.

That’s not just a number it’s interrupted futures and delayed dreams.

, we create spaces where young people can speak, question, and take ownership of their choices.

Because awareness isn’t enough.
We need action. We need conversation. We need change.

We don’t do it for vibes. We do it for change.

This week at , we had a real conversation about teenage pregnancy, not the sugar-coated version, but the truth young girls are living every day.

Because in South Africa, this isn’t just a topic… it’s a reality.
Over 117,000 girls aged 10–19 give birth in a single year.
That’s not just numbers, that’s interrupted futures, delayed dreams, and young girls forced to grow up too soon.

At we don’t believe in talking AT young people.
We create spaces where they can speak, question, and own their choices.

From Soweto to the rest of the country, this is what advocacy looks like when it’s real, when it’s honest, and when it’s led with purpose.

Because awareness isn’t enough.
We need action. We need conversation. We need change.
