While some people like to fiddle with liquid liners and gel liners, some days you just don't have the time to clean the smudges.
Normally I don't like an eyeliner pencil. They scratch and catch the skin, leaving a bumpy uneven look. There is one, however, that works. Ascot.
They are found at pharmacies dotted around Johannesburg and come in a range of fun colours. From the traditional black, to greens and purples these are great if you are in a hurry and want to glam up your look in 2 seconds flat. This jumbo pencil comes with its own sharpener on the lid too! In the region of R30 per pencil you can really have fun and try some new colours.

Makeup review: Lips
While having your makeup done professionally is really great it is not always possible. So here are some ideas on day to day wearable products that won't break the bank:

With winter in full swing your lipstick needs to change. Matte lipsticks are really striking but can leave your lips dry and chapped.
For a super delicate moisture try herbal tinted lip balm. It comes in nine gorgeous colours and lasts longer than most, leaving your lips moist and beautiful. Make the colour last even longer by applying a retractable lip liner. These apply better than a pencil but be careful not to twist too much out! they break quite easily.
Do you want more pop? a more intense colour? Then try Lip Stain. This koki pen lip colour comes in six vibrant shades and does what it says. It LASTS. It also works as a great under coat to make your lipstick last longer. Do be aware that it can dry your lips out.

So I finally took the plunge and got myself into the Capsule thing.

What a pleasure!

After some research and a few hours shopping, I came back with a wardrobe for the season. My colours are pink, blue and white, with a hint of green for fun.

I bought three pink tops, three white tops, two blue tees, a pair of denim shorts, pink jeggings, a blue and white striped skirt and some slops. For my "new me, new life" this is just perfect. I don't need alot of formal wear but need to know that when I do leave the house (inevitably in a hurry) I look good. Also, what I do have must be adaptable and comfortable.

I chose colours and items that would fit in with the items I already have in my wardrobe (I can't just throw stuff away -too sentimental), so I really do have a wardrobe that works. Whether I need something light and cool, or something a bit warmer, something a little bit smarter or just run around "collect the kids"clothes, I am sorted. No matter what I pull out the cupboard I know it will work, so no more staring at the piles of clothes thinking Ï've got nothing to wear!"

What do you value most (product range, service, skilled technician, ambiance range of services, location, convenience, operating hours etc). What services are absolutely essential for you?
