South Africa’s film industry is a powerful driver of jobs, investment, and culture and understanding its true economic impact has never been more critical.

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), in partnership with Andani.Africa, is conducting a comprehensive Economic Impact Assessment (2022–2024) to measure the industry’s contribution to GDP, employment, and tax revenue.

If you’re part of the film ecosystem, on or off screen, your voice matters. Take part in this national study and help shape the story of South Africa’s film industry through data.

The survey is now open, add your voice:

A Review of the Assessment of Visual Arts in South Africa:
South Africa's visual arts sector has the potential to truly thrive, but first, we must confront what's holding it back.

Together with the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, we invite you to share your perspective in this week's poll.

POLL: For South Africa's visual arts to truly thrive, what must be tackled head-on right now?

1. Sustainable Income
2. Access to Exhibition Spaces
