Grown4u is a grower owned citrus exporter. Citrus volumes for 2025 will be approximately 5.5 million (15kg) cartons. Fruit is exported to markets all over the world.

The company has a financial, logistics, technical and marketing department.

Preferred Starting Date: A.S.A.P.

Responsibilities / Duties

1. Company debtors and creditor’s function.
2. Recons of various debtor and creditor accounts.
3. Filing and documentation.
4. Capturing of sale prices on invoices on the internal QX system.
5. Issuing and sending of tax invoices to clients.
6. Full debtor statement function.
7. Capture of packhouse runs on the internal QX system.
8. Assist Financial Manager with ad hoc requests.
9. General administration.

Attributes

1. Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
2. The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload.
3. The capacity to work alone or as part of a team.
4. Reliability and honesty.
5. Discretion and respect for confidential information.
6. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel, Outlook) and Prophet/QX.

REQUIREMENTS

b. Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12
- Ideal – 3 years tertiary qualification – Diploma in finance or similar.
c. Experience
- 3 years relevant experience in similar position.

Responsibilities / Duties

Responsible to manage due diligence to ensure market access to export markets as required by the Grown4U Marketing Team.

1. Manage grower and packhouse certification / accreditations.
2. Manage residue tests and results.
3. Manage orchard inspections’ PQIś and phyteclean queries.
4. Manage and update all due diligence portals as required by clients.

Requirements

a. Languages: English & Afrikaans
b. Qualifications: Minimum – Grade 12
c. Experience: Preferably 3-5 Years’ experience in a marketing, grower relationship or procurement position in a medium sized company in the fruit exporting industry.

1. Responsible for all in-house logistical documentation (Packing lists, addendums and PO files).
2. Assisting with stock management on QX.
3. Solas Audit.
4. Capture and maintain shipping schedules on QX.
5. Assist with registering client information on QX.
6. Assist with general administration duties.

Requirements

a. Languages: English & Afrikaans
b. Skills:
- Outstanding organisation skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload.
- The capacity to work alone or as part of a team.
- Reliability and honesty
- The capacity to multitask
- Discretion and respect for confidential information
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Prophet/QX
- Attributes: Think on your feet, good people skills, attention to detail.
- Previous experience in export documentation will be advantageous.
