I offer you the opportunity for a one on one consultation either over a nice coffee or virtually. But if something catches your eye on my page I will naturally recreate it for you. I put heart and soul into each and every creation and I love working with well…love.

Introduction time! I have not introduced myself on here for a while. Hi, I am Nadine van der Merwe, owner and designer at Typing the Knot. I am Pretoria born and raised and have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children (ages 4 years and 10 months). My background is in Publishing but my love for design and weddings sent me on a course to start wedding stationery design. I began creating things for my sister's wedding, then my brothers and then set out full-time in February 2020 (impeccable timing I know). My greatest love is choosing typefaces for my designs, paper for the physical stationery and mood boarding with my clients!

In my personal life I am a big coffee drinker (always keen for a coffee-date to chat about your big day). I love books, watercolour painting and spending time with my family.

Wedding Newspapers are a fun, but also efficient, way to provide your guests with all the info they need on your big day. You can add so many elements; Personal touches like 'thank you' messages and relationship timelines, reception menu and programme for the day, and even crossword puzzles to keep your guest entertained while you take couple photos. They can come in any size depending on your needs and budget.
