Artist Statement:
"My bedroom-studio is a domestic safe space for me to be alone and connect with myself and the things around me. It is a place for both work and play, as well as
escapism and dreamy sleep. The surfaces of the installation form part of the play
and merge with the digital images. The mixed mediums of photography, found
objects, sculpture, space, video, and light all overlap in consolidation to form an
abstract psycho-geographical mind map of my thoughts, senses, and memories. The
new media videos are distributed on various devices throughout the bedroom-studio,
thus establishing a non-linear narrative that is materialized through doing and
chance."
