Discipline: From "Because I Said So" to Building Character 👨‍👧‍👦

Hey Dads! Let's talk about how discipline has evolved. For our parents and grandparents, discipline often meant strict obedience and swift consequences. The goal was compliance—no questions asked. 🙅‍♂️

Today, the landscape has shifted. We’ve moved toward Positive Discipline—focusing on emotional intelligence, self-regulation, and teaching the why behind the rules. Instead of just stopping a behavior, many of us are trying to coach our kids through their choices to build long-term character. 🌱

However, modern parenting brings new challenges: digital distractions, different social pressures, and the constant balance between being a "buddy" and being a "boundary-setter." ⚖️
