Your Google Analytics setup will shape every Q4 decision you make. πŸ’œ

Before the busiest part of the year, ask yourself:

β†’ Are we tracking real conversions?
β†’ Can we trust our attribution?
β†’ Are our channels being measured consistently?
β†’ Are our remarketing audiences building?
β†’ Does our reporting connect marketing to revenue?

Good data gives you confidence in where to invest.

Bad data can make a good marketing strategy look like a bad one.

Save this for your next Q4 marketing review. β˜•οΈ

Q4 paid social gets more competitive. πŸ’œ

That makes September a much better time to prepare than November.

Three things to work on now:

β†’ Build your warm audiences
β†’ Test your Q4 creative
β†’ Prepare fresh variants for creative fatigue

Don't spend Q4 learning what you could test in September.

Save this for your Q4 planning. β˜•οΈ

85% revenue growth from fixing the foundations, not simply increasing the budget.

This Google Ads account had three problems hiding underneath the surface:
β†’ Incorrect conversion tracking
β†’ Campaign structure issues
β†’ No clear connection between ad spend and revenue

We fixed the foundations, aligned the account with real business outcomes, and gave the campaigns time to learn from better data.

SEO for Q4 needs to start before Q4. πŸ’œ

Search visibility takes time to build, which means October is not the ideal time to start making the changes you want to see working in December.

If Q4 matters to your business, now is the time to review your commercial pages, technical SEO, seasonal search opportunities and content.

Don't wait for Q4 to prepare for Q4.

What's the SEO task that's been sitting on your list? β˜•οΈ

Google Ads Q4 preparation starts in September. πŸ’œ

Before you increase your Q4 budget, make sure the foundations are ready.

Our Kaomi Q4 Google Ads Readiness Check covers eight areas we would review before peak season:

βœ“ Conversion tracking
βœ“ Budget and campaign limits
βœ“ Remarketing audiences
βœ“ Search terms and negative keywords
βœ“ Campaign structure
βœ“ Creative
βœ“ CPA targets
βœ“ Your plan for responding to performance

Because putting more money into a campaign doesn't fix a weak foundation.

It just makes the weakness more expensive.

Save this and work through the checklist before Q4 gets busy. β˜•οΈ

Q4 marketing strategy starts in September, not October. πŸ’œ

By the time most businesses start planning, there is less time to test, optimise and fix what isn't working before peak season arrives.

Three things to action this week:

β†’ Audit your account structure
β†’ Review your GA4 attribution setup
β†’ Start building your remarketing audiences

Don't wait until Q4 to prepare for Q4.

What's the first task on your list? Drop it below. β˜•οΈ

Not getting the results you expected from your digital marketing agency? πŸ’œ

Before you blame the channel, the campaign or the algorithm, ask these five questions.

At Kaomi, these are some of the questions we ask when we start working with a new client. Because good digital marketing isn't just about generating clicks, traffic or leads.

It's about understanding whether your marketing is actually contributing to the business outcome you're trying to achieve.

If you're answering β€œno” or β€œnot sure” to two or more of these questions, there's probably an opportunity worth investigating.

Save this for your next marketing review.

And if you want a second opinion, DM us β€œquestions”. We'll give you a straight answer. β˜•οΈ

Google AI Mode is changing how search visibility works.

And it's worth understanding the mechanics, not just the hype.

In traditional search, rankings largely determine visibility.

You rank for a term β†’ someone sees your result β†’ they click β†’ they visit your website.

The relationship between rankings and traffic has never been perfectly predictable, but it gave businesses a framework for planning around search visibility.

AI-powered search adds another layer.

Instead of simply presenting a list of results, AI Mode can generate a response to the query and draw on information from relevant sources.

That changes the question for businesses.

It's no longer only:
"How do we rank for this search?"

It's also:
"Can our content clearly answer the question behind the search?"

This is where Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) comes in.

In practice, that means thinking about whether your content:
β†’ Answers specific questions clearly
β†’ Is structured so search systems can understand it
β†’ Demonstrates relevant expertise and authority
β†’ Gives search systems useful information to draw from

Traditional SEO still matters.

But the search landscape is expanding, and our approach to SEO needs to account for that.

The ranking game hasn't ended. It's expanded.

For marketing teams, that means content strategy, website structure and authority building all need to work together.

At Kaomi, we're incorporating AEO into our SEO strategy rather than treating it as a separate add-on.

We've broken down what AEO looks like in practice, and what businesses should be thinking about now, in our latest article:

SEO or Google Ads: which should your business invest in first?

It comes up in almost every new client conversation.

The honest answer is: it depends.

But there is a useful framework for deciding.

Google Ads is usually the stronger starting point when:

β†’ You need results within the next 30–90 days
β†’ There is clear search intent for your product or service
β†’ You have enough budget to generate meaningful conversion data
β†’ Your tracking is properly configured

That last point matters.

Google Ads relies on conversion data to optimise effectively. If there isn't enough data coming through, automated bidding has less to work with and performance can suffer.

SEO is usually the stronger starting point when:

β†’ You're building for 6–18 months and beyond
β†’ Your audience researches before buying
β†’ There is meaningful search demand around your category
β†’ You have the resources to invest in content and technical SEO

SEO without that investment isn't really a slow burn. It can simply stall.

And sometimes, the best answer is both.

The channels can make each other better.

Google Ads can reveal which search terms actually convert. Those insights can inform your SEO strategy.

SEO can identify valuable topics and landing pages that can then be tested through paid search.

Instead of treating SEO and Google Ads as competing line items, you can build a search strategy where they inform each other.

The caveat?

Neither is a shortcut.

Google Ads needs good tracking and enough data. SEO needs sustained investment. The foundations matter as much as the channel you choose.

If you're deciding where to invest first, what's driving that decision for your business right now?

Paid social advertising is not the same as boosting a post. πŸ’œ

Boosting puts your existing content in front of more people who look like your current followers. Paid social lets you build from scratch: objective, audience, creative, and measurement.

If your entire Meta budget is going into the Boost button, you're paying for reach without a strategy.

Save this for the next time someone asks why their paid social isn't converting. β˜•οΈ
