The Marras wines are unpretentious Swartland wines, rooted in granite soils and crafted for maximum enjoyment. Wines full of energy, personality and easy charm. The simple yet elegant wine labels, invites consumers to discover wines that are quite simply put, easy to enjoy, impossible to forget. The use of the brand’s spirit animal, the fox, represents the winemaker’s adventurous spirit, that always pushes the boundaries in life and in wine. This design was created with the beautiful Swartland “laslappie” landscape in mind.

The red wine’s burgundy colour theme reminds of the warm skies with sunset, and the white wine’s earthy colours of a typical Swartland day.

The Swartland Winery is well known for wines crafted from hand-picked, low yielding bush vines. Due to very low annual rainfall, the Swartland landscape is arid, meaning the vines have to go deep in their search for water, resulting in wines which have a superb and intense concentration of fruit.

Night or day, rain or shine – the Swartland remains one of the most beautiful landscapes of South Africa.

We recently had the pleasure of designing the logo and apple carton packaging for Bloomtru - a brand inspired by growth, new beginnings and vibrant energy.

The green tones symbolise growth and vitality, while the bold red adds contrast and shelf appeal. We also incorporated a traditional shweshwe pattern for a touch of proudly South African flair.

As a sub-brand of Moreson and sister brand to Mortru, the design needed to feel connected to the family while still standing confidently on its own.

Safe to say, this one bloomed beautifully!

Inspired by 18th-century Portugal, this book cover design uses azulejos style to reflect heritage and storytelling. Traditional blue-and-white patterns and ocean motifs - mirroring the heroine’s journey from dreamer to feared pirate captain. New label drop for Masons!

Both The Quarry and Voëltjiegat labels pay tribute to the generations of hardworking men who helped shape this historic place by hand. These two spots on the farm each have their own stories, their own character, and their own place in history.

The illustrated figure - drawn by our talented Tash - represents every craftsman who worked these ancient stones.

Rooted in nature, shaped by hand - a wine that honours heritage, and celebrates what lasts.
