Greetings fam we have a situatuonship can we discuss the Murumba Pitch feud or drama?
It’s in the public space that the Amapiano duo, split in March 2025, but both Emmanuel (DJ) and Maeywon (producer and vocalist) are still using the name, causing confusion. Emmanuel founded the group and handled business, came up with the name while Maeywon claims he crafted their signature sound and produced the music.
So now the duo has projects out with the same name on the DSP’s. Who should own the Murumba Pitch trademark? Emmanuel, the founder and business brain, or Maeywon the voice that people know as Murumba pitch and soul of the sound? Share your take!
