🚨🚨 BA-PHALABORWA COMMUNITY REPORT | WATER CRISIS OR DELIBERATE EXPLOITATION? 🚨🚨

Blacka Media Joint has received deeply concerning reports from residents across the Ba-Phalaborwa community regarding a worsening water crisis…one that many believe may not be entirely natural.
Community members allege that certain individuals in positions of influence could be deliberately interfering with local water supply systems. Reports suggest incidents of water lines being cut or disrupted, leaving households without reliable access to clean water.
Even more troubling is what residents describe as a pattern: shortly after these disruptions, private water trucks begin operating in affected areas, selling water at high prices to the very same communities now left with no choice.

There are growing concerns that public funds or misused resources may be linked to the acquisition of these water trucks, raising serious questions about accountability and governance within Ba-Phalaborwa.

πŸ’§ Residents describe a repeating cycle: Sudden and unexplained water interruptions
β€’ Communities left without access for extended periods
β€’ Water trucks arriving soon after
β€’ Residents forced to pay for a basic necessity.
This situation raises urgent and critical questions for the Ba-Phalaborwa community:

πŸ‘‰ Who is responsible for the ongoing water shortages?
πŸ‘‰ Is there a coordinated effort to profit from community suffering?
πŸ‘‰ Are vulnerable residents being unfairly exploited?
Access to clean, safe water is a fundamental human right, not a business opportunity.

πŸ—£οΈ Blacka Media Joint calls on local authorities, municipal leadership, and oversight bodies to urgently investigate these allegations. Transparency, accountability, and swift action are essential to restore trust and protect the people of Ba-Phalaborwa.
At the same time, community members are encouraged to continue speaking out and reporting any suspicious activities. Real change begins with collective voices refusing to be silenced.
Ba-Phalaborwa deserves better.

🚨🚨 BLACKA MEDIA JOINT | COMMUNITY ALERT 🚨🚨

⚠️ DEADLY SCHOOL TREND β€œCHUFF” SPARKS NATIONAL CONCERN

A deeply disturbing and dangerous trend known as β€œchuff” is rapidly spreading across schools, raising alarm among parents, educators, and authorities.

The trend involves learners inhaling chemical powder from fire extinguishers β€” a reckless act that poses severe and potentially fatal health risks. Medical experts warn that exposure to these chemicals can lead to:
❗ Brain damage
❗ Respiratory failure
❗ Chemical poisoning
❗ Lung collapse and long-term breathing complications
❗ Sudden death in extreme cases

Fire extinguishers often contain substances such as monoammonium phosphate or sodium bicarbonate, which are not meant for human inhalation. When inhaled, these chemicals can irritate airways, restrict oxygen flow, and disrupt normal brain function.

πŸ“’ GOVERNMENT RESPONSE

The Department of Basic Education has expressed serious concern over the rise of this trend, stressing that schools must remain safe spaces for learning, not environments of risk and harm.

Authorities have confirmed that provincial education departments are intensifying awareness campaigns, while schools are being urged to:
βœ”οΈ Conduct random safety inspections
βœ”οΈ Monitor learner behaviour closely
βœ”οΈ Strengthen Life Orientation lessons on substance abuse and peer pressure
βœ”οΈ Secure hazardous equipment like fire extinguishers

⚠️ PARENTS & COMMUNITY URGED TO ACT

Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to:
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Talk openly with children about peer pressure and dangerous trends
πŸ” Be alert to unusual behaviour, breathing issues, or chemical residue on clothing
πŸ“± Monitor social media influences that may promote harmful challenges

πŸ“Š GROWING CONCERN

Substance experimentation among school learners is not new, but social media-driven trends have accelerated risky behaviour, often turning dangerous acts into viral challenges. Health professionals warn that even a single exposure to toxic substances can have irreversible consequences.

πŸ›‘ FINAL WORD

The safety and well-being of learners must come first. Combating this trend requires collective action β€” from schools, parents, communities, and authorities alike.

πŸ“£ Blacka Media Joint calls on all stakeholders to remain vigilant and proactive in protecting our children.

Same classroom. Same desks. Same teachers.
But very different futures.

Some desks carry labels like poverty, depression, anxiety, homelessness, and unemployment. Others may say nurse, driver, security, or something even bigger that the world hasn’t imagined yet.

But here is the truth every learner must remember:

A desk does not decide your destiny. YOU do.

Your background does not define your future.
Your struggles do not cancel your dreams.
Your current marks do not measure your full potential.

Many successful people once sat in classrooms feeling lost, broke, anxious, or underestimated. What changed their lives was refusing to give up on themselves.

To every learner reading this:

πŸ“š Study even when it’s hard.
πŸ’ͺ Believe in yourself even when others doubt you.
🌱 Grow through every mistake.
πŸ”₯ Keep showing up, every single day.

One day you will look back and realize that the classroom you once sat in was not the limit of your life …it was the starting line.

Your future is still being written.
Make it powerful. ✨

Zimbabwe Suspends Export of Raw Lithium to Promote Local Processing

The Government of Zimbabwe has announced the suspension of raw lithium exports as part of efforts to promote local beneficiation and industrial development.

The policy seeks to encourage in-country processing of minerals, with the aim of increasing value addition, supporting job creation, and strengthening Zimbabwe’s participation in the global battery and renewable energy supply chain.

Authorities say the move forms part of broader reforms intended to ensure the country derives greater economic benefit from its mineral resources.
