Those who have joined Grocery Stokvel, have you ever thought as a group to also add a School Saving Stokvel, where in January you buy your kids new school uniform and stationery?

If you have noticed, many parents in January are broke due to December festive season spending.

So having a School Saving Stokvel for their kids its great investment for their kid's education and self-esteem.

As You go Into Business, Be Careful Of These Business Destroyers:

1. Church members - they expect free service just because you go to the same church or they have met you at some funeral somewhere.

2. Family - they expect free service just because you are a "family".

3. Neighbours - they expect a pasella all the time, just because they did buy something from you some 3 months ago.

4. Pastors - they want you to sponsor every Sunday meetings at the church with food and drinks, just because you are their member who is running a catering business.

5. Girlfriends - they will eat or take some of your stock in your spaza shop without paying because you are their boyfriend.

6. Emotions - think with your brain, not with your heart.

Business is business and it must be treated as such, no doing favours because they know you.

1. Focus on your vision. This will remind you of why you started that business. Many times we lose sight of our vision because we focus on all the difficulties happening around us. Take time to refresh your mind with your powerful vision. If it was strong enough to get you started, it is strong enough to keep you going.

2. Remember that you're not alone. If you think the journey of success is hard remember that no one had it easy. The people you're admiring and looking up to right now did not get what they have easily.

3. Ask your God to strengthen you, to guide you and to help you. Without God even our greatest effort can come to nothing. Ask God for wisdom, for helpers and divine direction.
