My clever friend/third mom/business partner/confidante started something amazing! With 4 kids, a history in educational toys, and a passion for empowering and uplifting whoever is around her, Anita Rushton started this amazing business, and I’m sure it’s going to thrive and fill many happy a home with intentional play. A small team of sewists (for lack of a better word) in Mozambique, have been trained up and are absolutely chuffed to have jobs and be creative. Anita brainstorms and consults with an occupational therapist (who happens to be my mom), for the games and activities soon to be available on her site.
For her logo, we had to portray “Bobi”, the name her grandchildren call her, who would whip up delicious felt and wooden food in her “Kitchen”. I used muted, natural colours in the logo, with some fun yet earthy colours in the rest of the materials. Have a look at their page, and Instagram profile, and follow along on this inspiring journey. Thanks for letting me design this identity for you, Anita, everyone’s Bobi!
