It's the 3rd fasting day of our month of consecration. During the first two weeks we took time to allow God to soften our hearts to the brokenness around us as we seek to continually know Him more.

For today, spend some time reading and reflecting on Numbers 21:4-9 and John 3:1-21. Ask God to increase your appreciation and understanding of the power of the cross, that He came to make all things right. Pray that we may see Him as the light which has come to overcome all darkness. Think back over the brokenness and darkness God has shown you over the past two weeks and ask Him to show you how the cross is the answer to this. Like last week, take a walk around your place of work, study and or residence but this time pray the knowledge of Jesus and power of the cross over the people and brokenness there.

As you pray for those around you, also ask God to show you the role of His church in bringing healing to His people. At small group this evening, pray that we may be bold and courageous in being who He would have us be. Pray for our family camp, that we would each know Him more because of the camp and be empowered to step out to bring His grace into our worlds thereafter.

Be blessed as you set aside time to seek Him today.
