So inspired by this post we put together for the Arise Women's Conference! What a privilege to be part of their marketing and communications team!
ChiChi Bismark, one of the key speakers at this year’s Arise Conference, and an author on prayer, is quoted as teaching:
There are four levels of intercessors. The level you are on does not define your spiritual level. It defines in a sense “what” you pray for.
People – these are people who are on the ground. They pray for immediate on the ground needs. They know the needs of individuals. They have the pulse of the people. Usually this level consists of Evangelists. They stand in the gap for the lost, deceived, blind, sick, etc.
Priest - usually consist of church leadership and pastors. They have a responsibility to make sure the presence of God manifests. It is the responsibility of the pastor and leadership to pray for the presence of God. Spiritual Warfare for a church body, community or region should be led by the pastor, he is the frontline. This group discerns what is going on in the house. They have a license to pray for things and people who effect atmospheres.
Prophets – this group of intercessors move in the prophetic. They pray “trigger” prayers; prayers of “what can be”. Foster atmosphere, faith, hope and the supernatural. When this group speaks a word it will manifest.
Princes – business people. This group intercedes through giving. They may never stand in front of a group and speak publicly, their role is to give toward the need.
