Hi everyone dont forget to support the Rotary Club Tree of Joy Project that is underway at the Greenacres and Pick 'n Pay Hyper Shopping Centre. Visit the tree and take a card and purchase the gift listed on the card. MES PE and several other NPO's are part of this awesome project. If you take a MES Card off the tree you will be bringing Joy in the form of toiletries for a homeless person. Last year this annual event spread a whole lot of Christmas Joy. Lets top it this year.

MES PE have teamed up with Pearson High School for a run/walk on their 5km track in the school grounds. The theme for the run is "A Journey Far Walked is a Story well told". The homeless have very interesting stories about their lives on the streets. Pearsonites are also challenging schools to participate in a Tinned Food Castle building Competition with the Theme "My Home is My Castle" in stark contrast to the cardboard box under the bridge Cash prizes, vouchers, medals for the first 100 to finish.
