Duco’s Eatery:
Honest Food, No Fuss!
Duco’s eatery opened on 1 November 2025 at Palm Square. It is the second venture of Wimpie and Sandra Jacobs, who already own the popular Fochville Coffee & Bistro. After years of planning, the couple (originally from the Potchefstroom area) expanded to their hometown.
The name “Duco’s” is a family blend of Dupper and Jacobs. Sunel Dupper, plus Sunel’s father who has extensive restaurant experience. The goal is a sustainable brand that can eventually grow into franchises. The space has a fresh, modern design focused on quick service, quality ingredients, and eco-friendly packaging.
Duco’s Eatery specialises in quick bites with big flavours. Expect:
Tramezzini’s (one of our top sellers) Light meals and footlong boerewors roll’s. Burgers(top seller), 11 different pizzas (top seller) (drawing on the best-sellers from their Fochville kitchen) Famous fish and chips, Poke bowls, Homemade cakes by Sandra (including chocolate cake with mascarpone frosting and mixed-berry New York cheesecake) Excellent coffee, Freezo’s, milkshakes, various hot drinks and boba tea.
Everything is prepared for takeaway, with an emphasis on generous portions, fresh local ingredients, comfort food, and healthier options — all at accessible prices.
