Luca Creative Agency is a Potchefstroom-based Digital Marketing and Graphic Design Company with clients from all around the world. We are looking for Graphic Design Intern that will join our dynamic and creative team. Our ideal candidate will be someone looking to start their career and grow with the company.

**Overview:**
You will work directly with our founder/director helping to conceptualise, create and execute designs for branding, social media, packaging, email marketing, and websites for clients.

Responsibilities:
- Assist LUCA staff in day-to-day activities
- Translate information and concepts into high-impact visuals through design
- Assist with research for projects
- Crafting social media posts (designing posts and basic copywriting)
- Assisting in photography projects
- Creating basic logo designs and brand identity elements
- Creating basic packaging designs
- Designing websites (previous coding experience not essential)
- Doing administrative tasks and running errands

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile
- Highly innovative with strong creative skills
- Must be able to work independently and must be self-driven
- Must have a form of tertiary education (degree, diploma etc.) in Design, Illustration, Marketing or Communication
- Must be fully competent with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
- Must have your own transport and computer/laptop with appropriate design programs

Detail:
- Please note that this is an internship and not permanent employment. (Although employment opportunities may arise out of the internship).
-The internship will be for 3-6 months with compensation of R2000-R4000 per month (depending on experience, performance and working hours)
- The internship will be in person at our offices in Bailliepark, Potchefstroom. Working hours is 8am-5pm Monday-Friday (full-day internship) or 8am-1pm (half-day internship)
- Please note that only Potch-based applicants will be considered

LUCA is looking for a Junior Designer/Copywriter to join our dynamic and creative team on a part-time, sub-contracting basis. You will work directly with our team in executing creative concepts and designs for clients. Compensation will be set at a package rate and depend on the amount of work involved. This will be a remote position, and the candidate can work from home.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing content copy for clients' websites, emails, blog posts and other requests
- Designing brand identities (logos, business cards etc.)
- Designing and crafting social media posts

ALL CANDIDATES APPLYING MUST
- Be available for a minimum of 8-12 hours a week (to start with) between Monday-Friday (within working hours)
- Have a BA Visual Communication/Graphic Design Degree, Diploma or equivalent- A strong internet connection (to be able to communicate with the team and clients)
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in the marketing/design and/or relevant industries
- Be fully proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop
- Have their own equipment (laptop) and Adobe programs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assisting in photography projects
- Creating graphics and designs for clients
- Designing websites
- Doing administrative tasks and running errands

REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience with graphic design and/or other related industries (such as Fashion, Art, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
- Strong creative skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally as well as in a team
- Must have good computer skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Be honest, transparent and high-integrity
