I met Fons in December 2025. I was at the Prison Break market. I looked at his beautiful tables, and (guilty as charged) did the awkward no eye contact thing and walked away.
He called me back and said that he’d just like to ask a few questions. He wanted to understand why people look and love what they see but then don’t end up buying. I told him that from my personal experience, people go to markets for drinks and entertainment and that things like furniture need to be planned and budgeted for. I said that I will take his number and help him with his marketing.
I reached out to him about two weeks later. He was so surprised. We went for coffee and discussed the way forward.
I designed a logo for him, cleaned up his socials, created mockups of his tables, filmed some videos and started posting.
The internet responded immediately. In less than two months, Fons sold 20 pieces of furniture. His accounts reached thousands of people, gaining over 1,000 followers and nearly 100,000 post views.
This collaboration changed both of our lives. Fons found a global audience for his craftsmanship. I found a daily friend and a renewed confidence in my own professional abilities.
