Carrots? No thanks. Carats?

Now you have my attention. 💎

Mae West clearly knew what she was talking about. 😉

Personally, I believe a little sparkle is part of a perfectly balanced lifestyle — and diamonds just happen to be my favourite kind.

Come visit me at Adele’s Manufacturing Jewellers and let’s add a few more carats to your day. ✨

... and it’s time you met the man behind A LOT of the magic at You’re Framed. 👋🖼️

Meet Kana — our framing expert, master of his craft, and the man who has been with us since the very beginning.

Kana hasn’t just helped us build frames over the years… he’s helped us build our dream. ❤️

He knows his craft inside out.

Give him an unusual size, a tricky piece, something sentimental, something completely random or one of my “Kanaaaa… I have an idea!” moments, and somehow he makes it work.

There have been thousands of frames, plenty of problem-solving, LOTS of laughs and probably even more teasing along the way. 😂

And if you really want to get on his good side?
☕ Arrive with a hot chocolate from Plato.

Trust me. Suddenly your framing job might become his favourite. 😏😂

Kana, thank you for being part of this fun little framing family from day one, for putting up with all our ideas, and for helping turn You’re Framed into what it is today.

Pop in and come meet him — although there’s a very good chance he’ll be busy making something beautiful in the workshop.

Hi, I’m Liezl — Your Framing Friend 👋

If we haven’t met yet, hi! I’m Liezl, the creative, and definitely frame-obsessed person behind You’re Framed.

To me, nothing that walks through our doors is ordinary.

A photograph isn’t just a photograph.
A child’s drawing isn’t just paper.
That old concert ticket, handwritten recipe, painting, medal or wonderfully random treasure you’ve kept for years?

It has a story — and I love finding the perfect way to tell it.

There isn’t a frame that leaves my shop without my personal touch.

I’m involved in every piece, from choosing the right combination to making sure the smallest details are just right.

Because you’re not simply handing us something to frame.

You’re trusting us with a little piece of your life.

And we take that very seriously… even if there’s usually plenty of laughing and chatting happening in the shop along the way. 😉

So bring me the sentimental, the beautiful, the unusual and the “Liezl, I have absolutely no idea what to do with this!”

I’ll have an idea. I usually do.

Your memories are safe with us, and I can’t wait to meet you.
