Technical copywriting is more of a structural style. It is about simplifying complex topics in to simple things that people can read and understand. Sometimes is meant to persuade sometimes not and it's usually boring.
__
Transformative/conversional copywriting is about taking someone from point A to point B. Mostly is done by telling a story. Like telling a story of someone who went from a passion to profits. It’s kinda mixed with brand copywriting. Typically the story of the person you are telling has moved the person from the place that the customer is at it right now and to where the customer wants to be.

By that you will be showing the transition, what it takes to get there and of course how you can help them to get to make that transition too. You would have created the desire of making them want to buy from you because the solution that you have has already helped someone or worked.

Not anymore, here's copywriting made simple.

Direct response copywriting is salesy language. It is getting straight to the point, getting a direct response immediately. If you were emailing someone the direct response would be getting them to reply. If you were selling would be to get them to buy now, click that button now. Purpose of direct Response is to move people to sale now with your words.
__
Brand copywriting is very different from direct response copywriting. It is more about emotions, identity and creating a certain feeling with an intend to turn the reader into a loyal long-term brand identified person.
__
It makes somebody not only to identify your brand by it’s colours or phrases but by all the things it says. It is about getting people to feel the way they want to feel so that they always have the reason to come back for more. It’s not intended to get response right now, it's a long term persuasion it is meant to drop seeds and get you to feel like you're part of that brand.

Do you ever struggle with writing an explainer video script?

If you answered yes, then continue reading.
__
1️⃣Know your audience.
When you know your target audience’s age, occupation, income, interests, pains, problems, obstacles, habits, likes, dislikes, motivations and objections, then it’s easier and cheaper to target them on social or any other media.
__
2️⃣Sell emotions not facts.
Write with empathy, we are emotional beings - press those emotional buttons. Put salt in the wound.
__
3️⃣Ask questions
Questions are extremely powerful and they engage the listener.
They make the listener to participate.
__
4️⃣Strong call to action
Think of something softer that won't turn people away. Like scroll down this video to find more not buy now don't hard sell.
__
5️⃣Sleep over it
Don't try to push yourself too hard to write a good Script at first attempt because it's likely not gonna happen.
Just get started, put words on the paper it's all about improving and editing your drafts.

6️⃣Read it out loud
Let it sound like genuine conversation.
You have to know how to read the punctuations.
__
P. S Yes, I said a conversation because it shouldn’t be a monolog but a dialog between you and the listener because you have to ask questions to engage the listener.

1️⃣Word choice is essential.
You have to use the simplest words possible, so that your message can be clear as crystal.
e.g Substitute utilise with use.

2️⃣Use more transitions.
In real life people start sentences with "and or but" so do not be afraid to do this in a video script. Video should sound natural and authentic.
__
P. S The way you write is much different from the way you speak.

People buy solution or a feeling. So when you sell, sell the emotions.
