ADVICE FOR A HAPPY LIFE

-When in doubt, just take the next step
-Saying someone is ugly doesn’t make you beautiful
-Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick, the people who love you will
-Don’t buy stuff you don’t need
-You don’t have to win every argument
-Choose your friends wisely
-Save for things that matter
-Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present
-It’s OK to not have all the answers
-Sometimes you need distance to see things clearly
-Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is about
-Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone
-Be yourself. The best thing in life is finding someone who knows all your flaws & still thinks you’re completely amazing
-No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & show up
-Take a deep breath. It calms the mind
-Get rid of anything that isn’t useful. Clutter, physical or emotional, weighs you down in many ways
-Whatever doesn’t kill you really does make you stronger
-It’s never too late to be happy. But it’s all up to you & no one else! 
-When it comes to going after what you love in life, don’t take NO for an answer! 
-Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don’t save it for a special day
-Overprepare, then go with the flow
