Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator / Accounts Manager

The Ideal Candidate
Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree in Marketing (or relevant field) + 2β5 years of practical experience.
Tech Stack: Proficiency with the Apple ecosystem (iPhone & MacBook) preferred to match our internal workflow.
The "It" Factor: You have high energy, a strong work ethic, and the self-discipline to work autonomously. You are charismatic enough to advise clients professionally and humble enough to handle administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
Manage and maintain all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube) for multiple clients across various industries.
Execute daily posting, scheduling, and platform updates.
2. Accounts Management (Client Facing)
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing day-to-day client communication.
Liaise with graphic designers, videographers, and editors to ensure client needs are met.
3. Content Planning & Creation
Develop comprehensive monthly content calendars.
Write compelling, on-brand copy for posts, campaigns, and social stories.
4. Reporting & Analytics
Utilise Hootsuite Pro to schedule posts and extract advanced reports.
Draft detailed monthly analytical reports providing written feedback on short and long-term data.
5. Live Event Coverage & Mobile Content
Provide on-site social media coverage for events and client shoots within Gauteng.
Capture and publish live stories, behind-the-scenes (BTS) content, and real-time updates.
6. YouTube & Paid Media Management
Upload and optimise YouTube videos (titles, descriptions, tags, playlists).
Assist in planning, setting up, and managing paid ad campaigns.
7. Innovation & AI Consulting
Assist in building our new in-house Marketing Artificial Intelligence consulting department.
Requirements & Logistics
Connectivity: Must have a dedicated home office setup with a stable Fibre connection (non-negotiable).
Transport: Ability to travel reliably between Pretoria and Johannesburg for client meetings and shoots.
Soft Skills:
Strong writing and copywriting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Creative thinker with attention to detail.
Self-discipline to meet deadlines and quality requirements remotely.
