𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧.

At our MADS February Business Workshop, opportunity knocked and Ayanda Njanya answered with enthusiasm, determination, and what can only be described as a memorable dive for the prize!

Ayanda was the winner of the six-month, one-on-one mentorship opportunity made possible through DopemineSA and facilitated by MADS. Following the workshop, where industry professionals Firdous Osman and Grant Sithole shared their insights and experiences, Ayanda seized the chance to take his business journey to the next level.

Over the last few months, Ayanda has work closely with the Firdous and the Dopemine SA team, growing both personally and professionally. "The mentorship experience has been revealing, honest & empowering for me as an entrepreneur." - Ayanda.

We look forward to following his journey and celebrating the progress that lies ahead.

Continuing with our Intern Introductions: MEET THANDEKA NOMBEU.

Since 2025, she has been part of the MADS internship programme, gaining valuable experience in project management, administration, event coordination, and workplace operations.

Driven by a passion for project management, Thandeka has embraced every opportunity to learn and grow. Through hands-on experience and mentorship, she has developed strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills while building the confidence needed to thrive in a professional environment.

Continuing with our Intern Introductions: MEET NELLY LEBOGANG MATLALA.

Since 2025 she has being going through MADS internship training in marketing, administration, creative development, event coordination, and digital skills.

Nelly joined MADS with a passion for marketing and creativity, and throughout the internship programme, has gained valuable experience in campaign planning, digital content creation, client communication, and social media management. Through hands on learning and real-world projects, Nelly has grown in confidence, professionalism, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, becoming a strong and creative contributor within the MADS environment.

What a fantastic start to our MADS Micro Business Growth Journey!

Today, we had the privilege of spending time with our incredible first cohort of 8 micro businesses, sharing, learning, listening, collaborating, and laughing together as we kicked off this exciting journey.

A special thank you to Capro for generously allowing us to use their space for our session.

This was the first of 12 sessions designed to help these businesses grow, strengthen their foundations, and unlock new opportunities. We can't wait to see what the coming months have in store.

A successful Uni Project kicked off this morning with a visit to TUT, engaging with students on industry readiness - and sharing a few real world stories. Many questions were asked - and we are excited to see where their future journeys lead. MADS will be there.
