Candidates should be local to Rustenburg, North West, as this is an in-office position with no remote or home working options available.

Responsibilities will include:

• Working on WordPress Platform.

YouTube is rolling out new terms and conditions for monetized channels. All YouTube Partner Program creators must accept the new terms by July 10. YouTube Shorts monetization is available on February 1st for creators who accept the new terms. PageFound

The sooner you as a YouTube content creator accept the terms, the sooner you can take advantage of YouTubes Shorts monetization, which begins on February 1st.

Why Is YouTube changing The Partner Program Terms and Conditions?
These changes will give creators more ways to join the YouTube Partner Program and earn money.

What are the new YouTube Partner Program Terms?
Accepting the base terms is a requirement for any creator who wants to be in the YouTube Partner Program.

These include:
Watch page monetization module: This lets you earn money from ads on your long-form videos and YouTube Premium.

The shorts monetization module: Lets you earn money from ads that play between shorts, the shorts feed, and YouTube Premium.

Commerce product addendum: Includes fan-funding features like channel memberships and super chats.

Creators can decide to accept all or some of the terms.
If you’ve accepted these specific terms in the past, you won’t need to re-accept them.

Two reasons why Google’s Search Advocate, John Mueller, advises replacing internal links pointing to HTTP URLs.

It won't impact your search rankings, but it can have a positive effect on your webpage performance. Getting rid of the extra jump someone has to take when they click on an HTTP version of a URL will get them to the content faster. If you have redirects in place, it helps, but they eat away at your Google crawl budget.

Redirects can break or get deleted, and having images loading with an HTTP URL could cause browsers to say that the site is not secure.

You are able to bulk update links on your website, it just depends on how and on what platform your website is built.

Something to look out for is the new feature where LinkedIn allows you to add clickable links to photo posts, creating a new way to drive traffic to your websites. The sticker link can also be placed on top of videos, which should create interesting content.

This new feature rolls out in phases and will become available to us in the near future. You will only be able to create them through the LinkedIn mobile app, as the desktop does not support it currently.

Instagram allows users to discover businesses with their new searchable location maps feature.

Find restaurants, coffee shops and any other business by browsing the map. You will find content posted by the business and customers, provided they've added the correct location tag.

For a business to show up on the map, they will need to have a professional Instagram account including their contact information. Google's studies found that almost 40% of young people use Instagram or TikTok if they are looking for a place to have lunch.

So with that in mind, get your Instagram profile ready for anybody looking 🙂

Not sure if you noticed anything strange with Google's Search Indexing?
On the 15th of July this was confirmed and said they were looking into this. The issue is with NEW CONTENT only. As you might have guessed people are worrying if this could impact their Rankings, but this is only limited to indexing of new content. This means that new content won't rank until it's fixed.

The timeframe historically with Google Bugs are around 24 hours and they posted on 16 July via their Twitter Feed that the issue has been fixed.
