What actually shapes how someone leads a design team day to day isn't usually a framework. In this Desk Chat, our design lead talks through the principle she works by, an industry habit she thinks needs to change, and the lesson that only comes from taking on a project before you feel ready.

As digital gets noisier, clarity matters more.

Our work with Richfield was recently recognised with a Merit in UX at The Mark Awards, alongside two Bookmark Awards finalist nominations.

When Fabian Architects and Make Studio merged to form FAM, they had a new name, a new visual language, and a clear vision. The challenge wasn't just technical. It was about bringing two distinct digital footprints together into something cohesive, confident, and true to who FAM had become.

The result is a sleek, responsive Webflow site with a fully integrated CMS, editorial-scale visuals, and a modular content system that gives FAM complete control as they grow. Bold where it needs to be.
