PLEASE read to the end (3 min read). It contains information which is critical to SA. This is NOT about politics, but the welfare of SA!
The map shows that ISRAEL is one of the MOST DEMOCRATIC & FREE countries on earth. Yet the ANC's stance on Israel, is not only an insult to black South Africans who've suffered during apartheid, but causes incredible damage to SA today.
It is a state crime, as the consequences of shutting Israel out (despite the help Israel has offered - refused by the ANC) is causing unnecessary severe damage to population's welfare and our struggling economy. Those who suffer the most are the poor who desperately need this assistance NOW!
By refusing the tech & solutions (to issues like water, security, agriculture, medicine, housing, defense, tech (job creation) & dozens of other problems we face), SA loses out, NOT Israel. Even Muslim states now recognise this and have begun signing peace agreements with Israel.
Within 5 years, almost all Arab / Muslim states will enjoy peace with Israel and all the benefits it comes with, yet SA will likely cling to a blatant lie that anyone who's spent 10 minutes in Israel, or researched for an hour, sees for themselves. Anyway, how did SA, a country that's 10 000 km from Israel, designate it as an enemy? ANC as usual...
The map has been compiled by Freedom House, which has no ties to Israel. It is an unbiased report that carefully measures over a dozen key factors which show how free a country is. Notice that ALL of Israel's neighbours are NOT free states, yet those are the countries that SA partners with.
The ANC doesn't care about the truth, apartheid or sadly, its own people. They lead uneducated South Africans to this insane belief that Israel treats its people as SA did during apartheid. The ANC would rather deal with known terrorist & rogue states who offer nothing in return besides chasing foreign investment away and keeping our people poor.
Every citizen should be infuriated that SA has blocked one of the most powerful and advanced countries on earth, from assisting our country and people. In fact, Israel possesses technology that no other country has, in dozens of sectors. Israel is second only to Silicon Valley in venture capital and startups.
Many major companies have headquarters and/or R&D in Israel: Google, Samsung, Apple, FB, Microsoft, Intel, 3M, Amazon, LG, McAfee, Alibaba, Dell, Unilever, IBM, Toshiba, AMD, Mercedes Benz, Dropbox, Ebay, HP, Huawei, General Electric, Bosch, PayPal, AT&T, John Deere, J&J, Lenovo, Barclays, Cisco, General Motors, Motorola, Oracle, Philips, Seagate, Sony, Mahindra, Xiaomi, Yahoo, Pfizer, Ford, and hundreds of other multinationals.
The only countries that may rival a list like this are the US and China. However, those are countries that have 335 million and 1.45 billion population respectively. Israel has only 9 million! Yet the entire world flocks to this tiny state, that is barely 70 years old and about the size of SA's Kruger National Park or New Jersey, USA.
To sum things up, if SA opened up its relations with Israel, our people would benefit immensely, in many ways that are not mentioned above. It would create critical jobs, new sectors, and perhaps the world wouldn't view us as fools anymore. It would provide foreign investors confidence knowing we are not an idiotic, dangerous state to invest in.
