Flying high with Cape Canopy Tour.
Well, the plan was to zipline during full moon but the weather decided differently. We had low clouds and a bit of rain. Heading down a zipline in the dark was wild...with just a small light on the other end, waiting to welcome you to the next deck.
This is not a regular event but if you ever get the opportunity for some night time ziplining, GO for it!

This truly was the calm before the storm. As event organizer it can be really stressful if you care about the safety of all your athletes. As storm warning was issued for the Western Cape on the weekend that the Milky Way Marathon was scheduled to take place. I knew I was playing it close but I adjusted the start time and knew we should get everyone down in time.
This photo is where I captured the last runners and sweeps coming down the mountain. It was a relief.
A couple of hours later it starting later.
The next night it started snowing and on the Monday morning I received photos of covered in snow.

I'm looking forward to this year's MWM. I'm sure it will be as exciting.
