This is for me. I still like to share it but it's for me. If no one sees it, I'd still do it. Finding moments. Framing up a sunset shot and a bird lands perfectly in shot. Beautiful moments. Working for yourself in the creative space feels like I'm constantly bombarded on how to monetise my creativity. I need to work on my "brand". But I don't want to monitise this because then the meaning also changes. Nothing wrong with that and I do it all the time. But this is for me.

40mm of overnight rain predicted but we still camped at Addo. It was worth it. 38degree heat in first day and then moody mist and drizzling rain the next. 2 seasons in one.

Successful trip in East Africa filming for a humanitarian project. Other than the inspiring and passionate individuals we met a major highlight was meeting up with in person for the first time. We met through more than 2 years ago and have become good friends always supporting each other in our filmmaking journey. Can't wait to do a project with him in the future👊🏼. Also Ethiopian food is amazing😋

Frame grabs from my latest short film. This was a self funded passion project and it combined two of my favourite things: Mountain biking and Vintage cars😎. It also served as an opportunity to experiment with new workflows and filming techniques. Like working with a dedicated DP , filming open gate 4:3 ratio on the Gh6 and G9 ll and licencing music like from . Fun shoot and glad we just got to play around while still pushing ourselves🙏🏻

It's awesome when things just fall in place. A bit more than two weeks ago I was just toying with the idea of shooting a passion project about the guys behind - an account on Instagram I only recently started following. I reached out to fellow filmmaker who's work I really admire and asked if he'd be interested to DP and he was keen! A quick meeting with the brothers Devon and Dylan who are behind followed up by a trip to CT and the project is in the can and I'm busy with the edit. Sometimes you just need to go head first and if the doors keep opening you just keep going🏃
