Yesterday, I did a 10K hike for the first time in 14 years. 😨
I was super hesitant (actually s**t scared), and on top of it, I only knew one person, one of my besties Pat, who invited me to the event. (and I'm really shy...)
When we started out, it was a breeze and super beautiful, but when those hectic steep hills came... (I thought to myself, do they have a helicopter to lift me out of this if I can't move my legs or God forbid fall??? LOL)
I made it up the mountain (looking like an overripe tomato,🥵😂) had some water, and breathed in the fresh air on the mountain.
"This couldn't be so bad, could it?
I should do this more often, It's freakin amazing!" I thought to myself AND THEN...
DOWNHILL
Slippery rocks (Thank God I didn't fall, there was no helicopter available)
My knees felt like it was in a spasm for the entire time we climbed down (and the rest of the day.)
And my legs felt shaky.
A lot of the time in business, it feels like this, It all starts out beautiful, you've got these amazing goals you're striving towards, and then the challenges start coming your way!
Sometimes it feels like it's not coming to an end...
And THIS IS WHERE MOST PEOPLE GIVE UP
💀 on their goals
💀 on their dreams of living their best life (whatever that may mean to you, financial and time freedom)
💀 the life they desire to live... (make millions, travel the world, provide for family)
But this does not have to be you.
You can design the life you want to live in 2023 and in the future.

You believed in me...

My dad always believed in me, in good times, bad ones and ugly times.
He trusted that I would always come out on top because he prayed for me.
He trusted God for my life, my purpose and my future.

Today is my father's birthday and I am the luckiest girl on earth to have a dad like him.

Happy Birthday dad!
Thank you for being unapologetically authentically you.

Thank you for loving me and giving me all the opportunities you could, for encouraging me to push forward.

Thank you for teaching me life principles and how to apply them.
Most important of all, thank you for teaching me how to live, how to pray and how to achieve my purpose and passions.

Thank you for being the father I needed and for being you.

But what if you woke up tomorrow and you don't have a voice?

That's kinda what it feels like when you just start out as an entrepreneur.

I didn't figure it out myself because I knew, I didn't know...
