Sani Pass is closed -
25 September 2024 until further notice

During the official drive conducted on the Pass today to assess accessibility, it has been reported that the surface up to Ice Corner is iced and slippery, posing a significant danger to travelers.
We advise extreme caution for anyone traveling in the area. Please note that those who exited today will be allowed to reenter via the Sani Pass border post. However, with immediate effect until further notice, Sani Pass is closed in the interest of public safety.
