Growing up with a sense of adventure that rubbed off on me and my other siblings, we soon developed an absolute passion for not only travelling but for getting to know the heartbeat of our own country. We go places to experience the culture, eat the food, talk to the people, and find out about the history of it. My extensive travels into Southern Africa not only made my knowledgeable but gave me a

n appreciation for Africa. So rich in culture, such colourful people with an immense passion for life and pleasing travellers. Due to my inquisitive mind, I normally find myself talking to anybody that would let me chat to them, I get lost on the lesser travelled roads to find a new adventure, or monument, or historical site, or even a forgotten event. I listen too many and in turn enrich myself with knowledge. Yesterday afternoon, the Knysna Waterfront looked like something straight out of a painting 🌩️⛵

The steel grey clouds rolled in, the lagoon turned mirror-still beneath the dark sky, and every reflection had a little bit of drama.

Knysna was showing off her wild side again. 🌊😁
