The entertainment streets are hotter than a Luangwa town in October, as a public feud erupts between B Flow and Kidist over a controversial Yo Maps music video that features women exchanging saliva.

The drama began when B Flow, in his capacity as Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) president, claimed he had engaged Yo Maps’ management team, popularly known as the Olios, and that they had allegedly agreed to remove the video.

However, the Olios quickly hit the brakes on that narrative, denying any such agreement, while Yo Maps himself made it clear that the video was staying exactly where it is — untouched and unedited.

Just when fans thought the volume had reached maximum, Kidist entered the chat with a sharp response, suggesting B Flow’s main contribution to the music industry was “playing soccer and showing up at airports.”

Social media users immediately grabbed popcorn, front-row tickets, and probably data bundles too.

Not one to leave the mic unattended, B Flow fired back by reminding Kidist that ZAM has consistently supported artists with visa processes and international bookings, before politely — but firmly — advising her to “stay in her lane.”

Kidist, however, was clearly not interested in changing lanes. She responded by insisting that Yo Maps was fully paid for his Burkina Faso performance and that B Flow had done no special favours for him.

As the back-and-forth continues, fans are divided, timelines are fully entertained, and one thing is certain:

in Zambia’s music industry, the beats are no longer only dropping in studios — they are now dropping in comment sections too.

HEARTBREAK AND MENTAL HEALTH: OVER 200 SEEK HELP AT CHAINAMA HILLS HOSPITAL

More than 200 people—most of them women—have been treated for severe mental health conditions at Chainama Hills Hospital since January this year, with many cases linked to divorce, failed relationships, and domestic challenges.

Hospital spokesperson George Tafuna revealed that nearly three-quarters of the patients are women battling depression and anxiety, often after being abandoned by their partners.

“We saw about 200 patients this quarter, and three-quarters of those we have seen are women battling anxiety and depression. We have more cases of depression, with the majority affected by failed relationships and domestic violence,” he said.

Dr Tafuna explained that many women face overwhelming emotional and financial strain when left to raise children alone, particularly in a society where extended family support systems are gradually weakening.

To address these challenges, the hospital is offering psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy aimed at helping women rebuild independence—especially those who were raised to rely heavily on their spouses.

Meanwhile, men seeking treatment are largely dealing with the pressure of meeting societal expectations as providers.

“For a long time men have been dealing with issues of high expectations because they have been taught to be providers for their families,” Dr Tafuna noted.

He added that occupational therapy is being used to help men develop healthier coping mechanisms, while diversional therapy supports individuals frustrated by unmet career expectations.

Despite these efforts, Dr Tafuna acknowledged that stigma remains a major hurdle, as many people still view Chainama Hills Hospital solely as a psychiatric institution.

He stressed that the hospital is working to change this perception by educating the public about the broad range of services it provides, encouraging more people to seek help without fear or shame.

MAN,56, DIES AFTER A "SHORT TIME" ROUND OF PLEASURE.

In what can only be described as a “mission accomplished… permanently” situation, a 56-year-old businessman in Kitwe reportedly kicked the bucket immediately after a late-night romantic escapade in Bulangililo Township.

Yes, you read that right — the man didn’t just give it his all… he gave it his everything.

According to Copperbelt Police Commissioner Mwala Yuyi, the incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning, around 02:00 hours
— a time when most people are either deep asleep or making questionable life decisions.

Unfortunately, this case leaned heavily toward the latter.

The now-deceased, Geoffrey Mulenga, had reportedly spent the night warming up (and by warming up, we mean drinking beer like a man preparing for the Olympics of poor decisions) at BM Bar with his girlfriend and friends.

Feeling bold, energized, and perhaps a little too inspired, Mr. Mulenga later hired a taxi to es**rt his 26-year-old girlfriend, Sharon Mwila, home.

So far, nothing unusual — just a gentleman ensuring his lady gets home safely… but the story continues....

Upon arrival, instead of calling it a night like responsible citizens, the two reportedly made a strategic detour to an outdoor toilet structure — because apparently, romance doesn’t always require candlelight… sometimes just courage, bad smell and poor lighting.

Moments later, after what can only be described as a high-risk, low-oxygen activity, Mr. Mulenga suddenly collapsed.

Just like that — no warning, no halftime break, no second round.

Police officers and scenes-of-crime personnel later found the body lying flat on the ground, as if he had just completed the most intense workout of his life… and decided never to stand up again.

Authorities confirmed that there were no visible injuries, leaving many to conclude that the man simply overdelivered on expectations.

The body has since been taken to Kitwe Teaching Hospital, where a post-mortem will determine the exact cause of death — though the situation has already taught the public a valuable lesson:

Know your limits. Not every match needs extra time.

Police have opened an inquiry, while residents are left shaking their heads and quietly updating their personal fitness goals.

May his soul rest in peace — a man who truly went out doing what many only dream of… just perhaps a bit too enthusiastically.

Call now to connect with business.

LATEST UPDATE 🇿🇲
The Government of Zambia has confirmed that the High Court of South Africa in Pretoria has officially handed over the remains of former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu to the Zambian Government.

This follows the family’s inability to proceed with their appeal before the Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa, allowing the earlier court ruling to take full effect.

The remains have since been moved from Two Mountains Burial Services (Pty) Ltd to a South African government facility, as preparations begin for repatriation.

Government says it will engage the family to agree on burial arrangements, with details to be shared soon.

A significant step toward bringing the former Head of State back home. 🇿🇲
