Branding mistakes 9/10 brands make….
I’ve witnessed countless brands repeatedly make the same mistake and wonder why they don’t see the growth they expect.
🚨Posting content that sounds like a plain old organisation
In recent years the online presence has grown fond of real person interaction. This shows that the barebone white collar posting style isn’t as favoured as it once was, this is also why influencer marketing and UGC (user generated content) has quickly developed in the recent years
🚨Failure to stand out
Away from contrary beliefs, showing what makes you different from the competition actually serves a better purpose than showing what makes you the best. Anyone can prove they are the best with a little pizzaz and some hard work but not everyone can stand out in a saturated market
🚨They don’t honour the three posting styles
1) nurturing content: meant to take care of your current customer base and build meaningful connections
2) Search based content: content that related to what people search (trending content) this allows for you to get new eyes on your feed
3) Educational content: this is content that teaches your client base about the product or service you offer. This is also the stage where you can start selling 😉 it could be requesting them to purchase, directing them to a link or even just requesting a follow.
Keep in mind that all these can be a hybrid of the other, but it’s important to give each category it’s individual attention to get the best results.
Let’s connect so we can talk a little more about this digital era we seem to have entered
