Today marks six weeks since I started running, and what can I say? It hasn’t been easy, but giving up was never an option.
When I started, it was extremely difficult. There were mornings when I’d wake up and genuinely question my decision to start running in the first place. But six weeks later, I’m doing 8 km like it’s nothing.
One thing I’ve come to realise is that the beginning of anything is usually the hardest part. Everything feels uncomfortable, unfamiliar, and sometimes even impossible. But if you stay consistent and keep showing up, what once felt difficult slowly becomes easier.
So, don’t wait until you feel ready. Just start. Take that first step, keep going, and trust the process. With time, you’ll look back and realise just how far you’ve come.
Six weeks down. No regrets. We keep moving. 🏃🏾♂️
