We, the Zambian People, Say:

President Hakainde Hichilema, withdraw the Cyber Laws. Please.

These laws are not protecting us; they are silencing us.
They are not promoting security; they are stifling freedom.
They are not defending democracy; they are eroding it.

You promised transparency. You promised accountability. You promised freedom.
Now, we are asking you to honor that promise.

Withdraw the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Law.
Restore our right to speak.
Restore our right to question.
Restore our democracy.

We are Zambians. We are watching. We are waiting. And we are speaking.

Withdraw the Cyber Laws, for the people, by the people, with the people.

The Education system in Africa is not a key to success go into the European countries no any students fails the exam, if truly Education is a key to succes why do we still have grade seven,nine and twelve failures when we are claiming that it is a key to success?

ZUSD will implement a new Education
System.
Education system that will be able to equip all our
learners with research skills that will be used to discover
and sustainably convert natural resources into finished
products an education system that will be the centre of
every development, meaning our institutions of learning
will be used to resolve challenges of Zambia without
recourse to simple common sense but scientifically
proven solutions; education system that will train our
teachers on research skills and how to transfer research
methodologies to learners from the earliest stages of
learning to the highest levels of education for the
purpose of solving Zambia’s problems.
1. Education system designed to solve problems for Zambia, and as a ‘branched model’ where learners can exit the system at various stages as artisans, technicians or
entrepreneurs; an Education System that is ‘fit for purpose’ for Zambia.
2. The Education will equip our youth with
research skills, ability to convert natural resources to standard of living, and civic
responsibilities.
3. Education system that promotes unity through diversity of common purpose,
upholding the principles of ‘One Zambia,
One Nation’. Promoting allegiance to
Zambia’s Constitution.

We need the education system that will be able to identify the career path of the child from the earliest stage of learning to the highest level of learning.

Next year, in the general election, we are called to reaffirm our values and our commitments, to
hold them against a hard reality and see how we are measuring up, to the legacy of our forbearers, and the promise of future generations. And fellow Zambians—I say to you today: we have more work to do. More work
to do for the workers I met in southern province, who are losing their union jobs in different institutions that’s moving them to Lusaka, and now are having to compete with their own
children for jobs that pay K2000 a month . More work to do for the father that I met who
was losing his job and choking back the tears, wondering how he would pay k4,500 a
month for the drugs his son needs without the health benefits that he counted on. More work to do for the young and old woman in Eastern Province who are facing challenges to feed their families with this high cost of living and thousands more like her who has the
grades, has the drive, has the will, but doesn’t have the money to go to college.

Mr. President Ba Hakainde Hichilema, as you push for constitutional amendments, why didn’t you include provisions that hold leaders accountable? If truly the Constitutional amendments are meant to serve the people, then shouldn’t it demand that a leader steps down when they fail to deliver on their commitments?

Mr. President, Why Didn’t You Include These in Your Amendments?

1. If you fail to deliver on your campaign promises, you must step down.

2. If you fail to reduce the dollar exchange rate by 14:00, you must step down.

3.If you fail to bring the price of a 25kg bag of mealie meal down to K50, you must step down.

4. If you fail to reduce fertilizer prices to K250, you must step down.

5. If you fail to end load shedding, you must step down.

6. If you fail to lower the cost of living, you must step down.

7. If you fail to cut down on excessive foreign trips, you must step down.

8. If you fail to make it easier for small businesses to operate due to unreasonable load shedding, you must step down.

9. If you fail to stop police brutality, you must step down.

10. If you continue using the police for political arrests, you must step down.

11. If you fail to fight corruption, you must step down.

12. If you borrow recklessly from the IMF, you must step down.

13. If you keep making speeches instead of delivering results, you must step down.

14. If you don’t put an end to political intimidation, you must step down.

15. If you fail to bring down the price of fuel, you must step down.

16. If you commission unfinished CDF toilets, you must step down.

17. If you fail to revive the economy, you must step down.

18.If you don’t take action against violent cadres, you must step down.

19. If you refuse to move to state house wasting fuel moving to and from Chalala, and losing lives of people hit by the speeding motorcade, you must step down.

20. And most importantly, if you mislead the people with lies, you must step down.
