𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

We closed 2025 by designing the Poultry News Africa October - December 2025 issue. This is one of the quarterly magazines SKYTH DESIGNS LIMITED handles. Our work covered layout planning, cover direction, designing selected magazine adverts, and the overall magazine design until it was ready for printing and publication.

Our client was a partner at two major Poultry Expos where copies of the magazine were distributed: the Ethiopex Expo in Ethiopia and the Poultry India Expo, which is Asia’s biggest poultry expo, hosted in Telangana, India.

Three years ago, in 2022, Kalemba Online News, one of the top leading online news sources in Zambia, which now has more than 1 million followers, tasked SKYTH DESIGNS to work on the newspaper design concept as they were planning to start an online E-paper. This was after we did a full rebrand for them, which will be shared one day. Here are a few highlights from the newspaper design.

“𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹. 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱.”

That was the client’s response after we shared the final logo.

We recently completed a brand identity project for DeepLore Analytics, a data analytics company that blends insight, knowledge, and intelligence in everything they do.

The process was smooth from start to finish.

The client reached out, we had a conversation, and they shared a detailed brief that gave us a clear direction. As with all our projects, we began once the 50 percent upfront payment was made.

From there, we developed the concept and created a clean and minimalist logo based on the brand’s initial letter D, with three rising bars inside it to represent data, insight, and growth. We chose a deep blue color to reflect trust, clarity, and intelligence. For the font, we went with a clean sans serif, as it paired better with the icon than the serif option originally considered.

We shared the final design and the client approved it on the first delivery. No revisions were requested. We then packaged the final files, prepared mockups, and completed the project after the balance was settled.

It is always a great experience when the design process aligns perfectly with the client’s vision.

Here are a few highlights from one of the magazines we work on every quarter. This is Poultry News Africa, a magazine we started building from scratch with our client in 2023. We handled the full branding, that's from designing the logo, choosing brand colors, creating the cover style and layout, and managing other parts of the project.

We’ve now done 8 magazine issues and counting. These are a few highlights from the April - June 2025 issue, which has 44 pages. Our client usually gives it away for free, so if you're interested in poultry news from across Africa, you can download a free copy on their website.
