Lessons I learnt from running a 10 KM marathon 🏃🏾♂️
1. You don't have to be fast, just keep moving.
At some point, I stopped caring about speed. I just wanted to keep my legs moving.
Life is like that too. Progress is progress, even when it feels slow.
2. The beginning doesn't determine the finish.
I started with confidence… then 5 KM later, my legs started asking serious questions😅.
You can start strong and still struggle later. What matters is how you respond when things get difficult.
3. Manage your energy.
You can't run the first 2 KM like you're being chased and expect your energy to last for 10 KM 😂.
Life is the same. Know when to push and when to pace yourself.
4. Your mind can quit before your body does.
There were moments when my mind was already saying, “Bro, let's just walk 😩".
Sometimes the biggest battle is convincing yourself to take just one more step.
5. Everyone has their own pace.
Looking at someone running ahead of you won't make you finish faster. Focus on your own race.
And perhaps the biggest lesson…
The finish line is reached one step at a time.
Whether it's fitness, career, character or life itself
keep moving. Your pace doesn't matter as much as your direction.
Think About It🤔.
