Kalumbila, Zambia - Trident Football Club officially launched its new playing and training kits for the upcoming 2026 transitional league during a ceremony held yesterday at Sentinel Grounds. The new uniform will be worn by both the menโs team, Trident FC, and the womenโs side, Trident Queens.
Manufactured by renowned international sportswear brand Scimitar, the new kit blends high performance with a modern aesthetic: Matchday Kits (Home & Away) feature primary front-of-shirt sponsorship from Tri-pump, Hydrofroth on the sleeves, and AxisHouse featured prominently across the back. The training wear is proudly sponsored by Kassco (front) and AxisHouse (back).
The occasion was graced by representatives from the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) North-Western Province, led by Vice Chairman Mr. Dickson Mambwe, alongside key club sponsors including First Quantum Minerals (FQM) Trident Limited, Trident Foundation Limited, Nvumabaranda group of companies, Tri-pump, Hydrofroth, AxisHouse, Kassco, and Quattro Limited.
Addressing attendees during the official opening, Trident FC President Mr. Mainza Mazuba highlighted the deeper significance of the new strip, stating that the design reflects the ambition, identity, unity, and pride of both the club and the broader Kalumbila community.
Mr. Mazuba reaffirmed the executiveโs commitment to maintaining a well-organized, highly competitive club that honors the investment of its corporate partners and the loyalty of its supporters. He also challenged the players across both squads to wear the colors with discipline, determination, and pride throughout the campaign.
To ensure fans can stand with the team, replica jerseys for both adults and children will be available for purchase at K670. Official retail locations and distribution points will be announced in due course via the clubโs official communication channels.
