PR GIRL MEDIA SUCCESSFULLY REBRANDS BEERVILLE INTO A STREET FESTIVAL
With The 10th Edition of The Event Set For 3 April 2027 Featuring An International Dancehall Artist
The 9th edition of Beerville was held on Saturday, 9th May 2026 at Levy Mall featuring 10 DJs and headlined by chart-topping artists Jay Rox and Towela Kaira. At the event dubbed as Dancehall Edition Vol. 3, attendants were dressed in urban fashion at the top deck of Levy Mall which was transformed into a street party that kicked off from 13hrs until late. The 9th Beerville stage showcased upcoming DJ talent from across the country with renowned Djs Twizie, Andie Stone and Superstar Hussein performing as Lead DJs. Event partners BigTree Beverages and Zambian Breweries contributed to the exciting event through experiential brand activities.
The annual Beer Festival popularly known as BEERVILLE was introduced in 2017 as a beer garden event that was a part of the global celebration of Oktoberfest. The DJs-only event was a first of its kind and has since become Zambia’s premier and exclusive beer festival. Following the cultural shift in entertainment, PR Girl Media has re-invented Beerville into a Dancehall occasion inspired by the Caribbean tradition of street festivals. The first Dancehall Edition of Beerville was held in 2023 in a colorful display of food, fashion, music and art. For over three years, PR Girl Media has consistently presented the event as a Dancehall-led experience offering consumers a re-energized era of the event.
The Dancehall version of Beerville is a strategic transition of the event from an Oktoberfest celebration to a more culturally relevant one that drives authenticity in our continental artistry and creative sector. “Our vision is to create a platform that is anchored on Afro-Caribbean culture as a necessary path in our growth as a Pan-African and multicultural business. A few notable names such as Popcaan, Sarkodie, Spice, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel have been widely recommended by fans of Beerville.
