Do you feel seen as a Woman in Sport? This part weekend, we started our journey to bridge the visibility gap at our inaugural MN Women in Sport Summit.

This remarkable event served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences within the sports industry. Notably, the summit whose purpose was to ensure that Women from all sections of the industry are included had representations from Federations/Associations such as Tennis, Netball, Football, Golf, Swimming and National Olympics coming together to discuss inclusivity and bridge the visibility gap in Sports and in addition echoed the importance of having women in decision making positions.

One of the most gratifying aspects of the summit was the enthusiastic participation of students from various universities, including the School of Public Relations and Physiotherapy. Furthermore, the summit had Women in Banking and Law who have passion about sport and needed to network with Sports Industry professionals. Their presence underscored the importance of nurturing the next generation of sports enthusiasts and professionals.
