Dear employers,
In economics there’s something we call a point of diminishing returns which can be described as a point after the optimal level of capacity is reached, where every added unit of production results in a smaller increase in output until no return is realized.
Sometimes adding extra hours to work actually reduces productivity especially if the reason for adding is birthed out of a place of trying to prove a point.
You’ll rather frustrate employees if they are told to work extra hours to fulfill unrealistic and unattainable objectives.
Remember, time=life. Every second spent wasted is an employees life wasted.
